    Default Face masks

Okay ladies. My face has been looking a little dull and sometimes oily here lately (normally after working out or running errands in the heat) and I know it's from the summer heat but I cannot stand it. I normally do a mask every week but the last couple of days I have done a mud mask everyday and I bought the L'Oreal revitalift cream and my face looks so much better. I don't know if I should be doing this everyday or if it's actually bad for my skin to do it that often.

Anyway, I was wondering, what kind of masks do you all use? Does anyone use any of the homemade masks or facial ideas?

doesn't oatmeal get rid of the oil??

I googled and came up with this page - I'm going to have to try some of these myself ..
    Homemade Facial Scrubs & Masks

This low cost facial cleanser is so gentle you can use it every day. If you use it even a few times a week, your complexion will be radiant for the holidays. All you do is dampen a tablespoon of cornmeal with enough water to make a coarse paste. To this paste, add a few drops of liquid hand soap. Now gently massage the mixture all over your face, then rinse with warm water. You'll have the cleanest pores in town. Happy Holidays!

One of the best & cheapest is by Queen Helena-mud or mint peel off. Saw it in a magazine & tried it-great! Under 5 bucks.

Have you ever used clay? I use Indian Healing Clay by Aztec Secret. I mix it with Raw Apple Cider once a week. I love how it works. It has no chemicals, additives and so on. Your skin starts to pulse when it is on. For a scrub I sometimes put a little bit of table sugar in my face wash. Works like a charm. I have thick oily skin that can handle anything.

No, I have never heard of the clay deal. Where can you buy that?

I found mine at Whole Foods. It's a natural product. I think it was about $7.00 for a little tub of 100% pure bentonite clay. Little tub lasts forever. You can mix it with water or the raw apple cider. Before I went natural with my beauty products I used to love the black Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask. God, that stuff was awesome. I am a sucker for face stuff. The Queen Helene's Mint Mask is also good.

I use Queen Helene Mint Mask. It keeps my face clear and doesn't dry my face our or give me pimples.

Sweetie, one of the best and cheapest masks for oily skin is natural youghurt. My mum has been using it for years and at 76 has no lines.

I also swear by it but have been slack lately. It is not so good for dry skin but on oil skin is is terrific.

You slather it on and leave for 30 minutes, or a few minutes after the yoghurt dries out. Whichever comes first.

    Arbonne Intelligence!
It's a hard core exfoliating masque.
You leave it on for 5 minutes, you can feel your
face twitching and tightening while it's on.
After you rinse, you'll be bright red for a few minutes, then
toned and tight all day long. It's freaken amazing!.

Meryl doesn't even try anymore. She just calls Lanvin and asks for curtains with a belt.~Bitter
Can we interest you in Leann Rimes? She has a nice little cadre of fans you'd probably enjoy.~ Pecan Pie
