Just live with them. They do fade somewhat in time, but never disappear completely
I have quite a few stretch marks from having been pregnant. They don't bother me in the least. I consider them my battle scars![]()
Stretch marks...ugh...I have it... I don't even know why.. I guess my skin is not elastic enough, so during puberty, when my body "changed" I got these annoying things... however, I got used to them...
So...does anyone have them and what do you do? Is there anything that will make them disappear (I doubt) or just make them less visible?

Yea...I do live with them... and I'm not obsessed about them...sometimes a little sad when I see them up closeAnd they do look less visible then they did before...

I don't think there is anything you can do unfortunately. Some people swear by that fake tan stuff but others say it makes them look worse. So I can't help sorry.
I got the answer!!
COCOA BUTTER!!
You have to massage it daily for about 3 weeks to 1 1/2 months and then you see results...also exercise helps- not weights, drink water and run or do sit-ups..concentrate on the exercise using the area where the marks are.
I used it in my first pregnancy and I am using it now...and I had no stretch marks after baby was born.
There is also a product that has a long name and some numbers, try do a web search..that was supposedly good- made from placenta.

Didn't Jerry Hall once say she used cooking fat on her pregnant stomach and therefore never got any stretchmarks?
I have them on the sides of my hips and lower back, but they never ever bothered me. I guess even the "softening techniques" are bogus... not much to do about them aside from learning to live with them.
I have no idea either. I have known women to have had a baby and end up with none.
I have them on my hips from puberty also, and they have only faded subtely.
i have them from weight loss. i did have ones on my breasts but they faded. they bother me more than cellulite. is that weird? and don't feel bad, halle berry has them on her boobs. we're all human
I think that lots of moisturising helps - but it won't make them disappear completely.
Barbiedoll, I LOVE your avatar!! "I wanna C. O. O. L., R. I. D. E. R!!"
Curiouser and curiouser...
I'm a thin girl and i had them on my inner thighs for awhile, but they used to be red and now they're very faded, and skin colour. So they CAN disappear.
I have stretchmarks EVERYWHERE. I don't know why. They just came during puberty. I have them on the back of my legs, on the top of my knees, inner thighs, on the hips, my butt.... Some of them you have to look very closely to notice them.
I don't care =)

I have them on my thighs and butt, from puberty-honestly, I barely notice them anymore, they're a non-issue.
Palmers Cocoa Butter - they even have a specialist lotion just for stretch marks. A friend used this every single day during pregnancy and has not a single mark.
Also Bio-Oil is renowned for helping old stretch marks and even old scars. But don't expect complete miracles.
