Prescriptives' Sheen Cream in Beam was what they used on Sharon Stone for some movie to make her look luminous. Most makeup lines make a luminizer now. Just make sure you use it sparingly, like only the areas you want to highlight.

Botox!!!

No, I don't know. It's been suggested that a lot of them get microdermabrasion and it makes them all smooth. It could also be whatever foundation they're using, without powder. In some cases I think it's a shimmery highlighting powder or creams. I guess it depends on the effect you want.

But too shiny is bad, like our friend Marica Cross with the high-beam forehead.

I also read that if you have good skin, use tinted moisturizer one shade deeper than your skin tone and use concealer only where you need it, like around your nose and eyes. That gives you a glow with a touch of color.

very few people can do "dewy" correctly. you must have: blemish free skin, small pores and delicate features. anyone else, you look oily, greasy and/or like a zithead. no one with scarring on their face can do it either.

I spent loads of money of highlighters and light reflecting foundations only to find out that I can get that dewy effect from simply applying moisturiser underneath my foundation!

A product you can try is from Benefit cosmetics - www.benefitcosmetics.com (or at Sephora) it's called "Hollywood Glo" which can be worn on top of makeup or can be mixed with moisturizer and applied.

Exactly. Apply moisturizer right after cleansing when your face is still moist. Wait 15-20 minutes before applying foundation.

I've been doing that for years. It really works. Also, lots and lots of sex will make your face dewy. Joan Crawford used to rub sperm into her face regularly.

Didn't do much for her skin, though.

It's an episode of Nip/Tuck. Some lady told Julia, etc about it and now Joan Rivers is their spokesperson. So gross.
