    Default Good earth tone eyeshadow

I like to wear some shimmery or matte earth tone eyeshadows. I am always looking for recommendations for those colors. Anyone wear neutral type eyeshadows and have some that they love?

Believe it or not, but I have all this expensive makeup and yet the eyeshadows I carry in my purse are the ones I like the best...it's a cheapie too!! Physician's Formula Matte Collection Quad Eye Shadow...it's a 'Quartz Quartet' and the colors are pretty neutral: granite, ash mauve, slate and rose-quartz. I love it!! Another good bargain are the Almay eye shadows. They have good earth tones that don't fade.

Bourjois has some great ones. My fave-don't know if it is still available-is Kaki Etonnant 70. Beautiful brown/green shimmer.

I really love MAC colors ,my fav is Woodwinked and All that Glitters , they are both shimmery taupe colors that look good almost on anyone , I also really like the color called Patina and Sable and Bronze , if you got to www.maccosmetics.com you can look through all the eyeshadows

My favorite is Clinique's Touch Tint for Eyes in Nude Sparkle. It's a shimmery beige color that looks great on its own and also does a great job as a base underneath other eyeshadows. I've used it just about everyday for about 2 years now.

I vote MAC too. They seem to specialise in those natural/earthy colours and not just for eyeshadow. Their blushers and lipsticks are good too. Their lipliner in Spice is fab because it seems to match almost any shade of lippy.

Nobody does neutrals like Bobbi Brown.

    MAC taupe, without a doubt.

Here's a trick: They have it as eyeshadow and as blush (but there's no difference between the two). Both are about the same price, but the blush is much bigger, of course.

I like Clinique's powder shadow duo in Double Date. Clinique's eyeshadows are not highly pigmented and are a sheer wash of color unless you really pile it on. I like it because I'm very fair and can't really handle a lot of pigment during the day.
