Default Microblading, does anyone have experience?

I'm thinking about getting this done, but am curious if any of you have done this and what your experience was. My eyebrows are not thin at all, but they do not reach to the end of my eye. My brows are also too light in color so I end up dying them every four weeks or so, which is annoying.

    Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!!

A friend of mine had it done. She's half Chinese and she always complained about having to fill in her rather sparse brows with pencil and she recently got this done and loves it. It's really natural looking, it looks like she grew more eyebrow hairs basically. You have to really research where to get it done though, check out reviews for places near you, etc

Good to know it looks natural. One of my friends is Vietnamese and had actual tattooing done and she looks like she has sharpie on her brows.

The plastic surgeon's office I get botox done at, offers the service, but doesnt have any before or after pictures online. I'm sure they do great work, but am always hesitant when something is considered semi-permanent.

check out Yelp for any reviews of that plastic surgeon's office, you might find reviews from people who had that done.

I've been telling people in the medical field for years that tattoo removal and ear reconstruction are going to be booming businesses for decades to come.

I honestly thought this thread was going to be about some kind of new rollerblading. OK, then.

That twitchy link was terrifying. But if I would be a great candidate for having this done the right way because my eyebrows suck. I have to fill them in with pencil every day. And most of those brow kits have just been disastrous for me.

Several of my friends have had it done and it completely changed their look- in a positive way. I agree with the advice above, to find places online and look at their before/after photos. Instagram is a great place to search, as they often tag a client (with permission) or share a selfie a client sent them. It allows you to take a look at after photos that aren't just perfectly staged.

Yeah, no thanks! I'll just hope my brows don't leave and keep penciling when I want them a tad heavier.

Sorry, I guess I should have posted more about my experience. I tried to get the Black Friday special at the place I chose, which was $350, but they were all booked, so I ended up paying $400, which was the anniversary special (their regular price is $450). That seemed to be an average price in my area. I did search around a bit on Facebook and Google and looked at before-and-afters and testimonials to help me decide. Their webpage was very professional, which impressed me. I kept hearing how painful it was going to be, but it really wasn't; it hurt less than Botox and felt more like a mosquito bite.

The after-care/recovery was super easy. I am supposed to go back in about a week for follow-up, which was included in the price, when they will do touch-up and fill in any blank spots (some of the pigment can fall out during the healing process).

Like I said, I am very happy with the (almost) finished product as my brows were very sparse from the middle to the edges and I have trichotillomania (I tweeze too much), plus I think they had just naturally thinned with age.

I don't usually wear a lot of makeup but just having eyebrows when I'm not wearing any has boosted my confidence, and I think it makes me look younger, so yay
