Your hair and face sound just like mine. I want this:
But I have no idea how to style it. Any ideas?
I have thin hair, kinda curly-wavey, very often a bit puffy, reaching down to my shoulders. Also, I have bangs and I have long-shaped face/head.
Most of the time I do ponytail or keep it loose. I wanna do something with it and I was thinking maybe I could do this hairdo at home, it fits my longish face but I'm not sure how it'll go with bangs.
Anyway, could you explain to me how to do it at home? Or maybe alternative easy dos?

First of all, your face shape does not go well with ponytail. Try to avoid that, maybe get a couple of inches cut.
I'd say go to a good hairstylist and discuss easy ways to fix hair that still suits your face. That picture is cute, but consider the bangs hanging over your face- has to be modified for real life.
With a good hair cut and the right "product", you will look smashing. You are so lucky to have wavey/curly hair! Just do it!
Remember: all good hair starts with a great cut.

I am a big fan of the "sock bun". You need longer hair to do it, but it looks great.

yay i got thin hair thats long, i wanna try that sock thing tomorrow, looks really pretty
we don't have to make love to have an orgasm
The sock thing is really simple and stays well. I did that for my daughter's hair at Halloween, when she dressed up as Cinderella.
It's very pretty.
i LOVE the sock bun. it's a real lifesaver in hot and humid weather when no amount of styling will get rid of the frizz and there's just no way you can wear it down.
and you can do so much with it. you can wear it really high, pebbles flinstone style, or a little bit lower for work. you can make it sleek or messier, etc...
also, h&m recently started selling these spongy 'donut' thingies that you can use instead of the sock, and they had them in different colours - blonde, brown and black, so you can buy one to match your hair colour.

The thing is, everyone is already wearing that bun, so I think it is a bit boring (but if I had long hair, I would try it as well)
I have a round-ish face shape and my hair thickness varies on humidity, but it's mostly on the thin side. I've had a lot of compliments on a longer pixie-style cut. No styling other than mousse and a blow dry, and the short length is a volume booster. Kind of similar to Katie Holmes' cut circa 2007, but shorter and without bangs.
Love the sock bun! Such a great idea and it looks really cool. I've got really fine hair as well, lately i've been putting through a few squirts of Tigi's Your Highness Gel boosty stuff before I blow-dry to give loads of volume, then do a few twists with my curling wand to tidy it up. Volume and cuteness abound![]()
I smile because I have no idea what's going on
I don't get what she is doin with the sock bun thing.. Is she rolling it? I have the spongy things and I just wrap my hair around it lol
