Does anyone know really good home remedies that you've personally used? JW! I've tried the toothpaste on pimple one and it worked for me who would have thought!

Feel free to share! I'd love to hear what you guys have tried.

I love aspirin masks! Makes my skin smooth as a baby's bottom. I use them whenever I am not looking as radiant and fresh faced as I should !

There is a plant in my yard that looks similar to an aloe, but is actually (to the best of my knowledge) agipanthus (Lily of the Nile) or something like that. If I smear the goo inside the leaves/stalks on my face at night, it tightens everything up and shrinks my spots. (Toothpaste never worked for me).

I use extra virgin olive oil to remove eye makeup.

What is an asprin mask? Asprin crushed up and mixed with...?

Aspirin masks are just aspirin and water. Drop a few crushed aspirin in a tiny bit of water, mix it up and apply it, it should be kind of a chalky paste.

I've heard of people mixing it with other things, but it's usually water.

I should consider using Asprin Mask. I heard that Asprin actually has Salicylic Acid in it?

Anways, back to the subject... there is one where you just boil a cup, or two of water, and put your face near the bowl. Maybe 10-15 cm away from the bowl, of course. It opens up your pores, so you can really can clean out the impurities of the skin. You can use masks, scrubs, or just a cleanser when you put your face near the bowl long enough,then you finish with icy cold water to close the pores.

I've heard of one using honey, but the other day I tried it out,and it was a complete mess! It got stuck to my face, and hair! The website which I got it from said that you only have to add honey!!

aspirin is a form of salicylic acid, acetyl-salicylic acid if i remember right

I used that a couple times a week for a long time. Then I was reading up on what high level ph products can do to your skin over time. Think about, baking soda can eat corrosion off a car battery! It's very alkaline and not at all good for your skin.

Ice packs on the skin. Steam also is good for pores.

One word of advice-you will do a lot of manual exfoliation just getting it off, so do not scrub your face with it while applying. Maybe doing it with yogurt makes it more gentle...I will give it a try that way.

I swear by my Comet mask to get rid of zits. Only problem is I have permanent sunburn now.
