Re: Hair removal - Electrolysis (I need advice!)
I've done a research for the Babyliss Electroliss last week, on the site it seems great, but then I saw what users posted on forums and it was not so positive: you have to do the electrolysis AND need to do the hair removal afterwards all the same (no shaving!), it takes a long time and only last like a couple of months.

Re: Hair removal - Electrolysis (I need advice!)
The only way to get effective electrolysis is by going to a salon and having someone else do it - and from my (brief) experience it fucking HURTS! Also, electrolysis is only a permanent solution after repeated treatments - it's absolutely not a one-off thing. Depending on where you want what removed and/or your budget, I'd go for waxing if you can stand the repeats and the pain OR laser.

Re: Hair removal - Electrolysis (I need advice!)
I just made an appointment for laser hair removal, and part of their deal is that I have to have a doctor's examination before hand, breast check and all. Anyone else have to do that before laser??

^^Ohio! I'm not comfortable with this whole carney doctor visit thing, especially a breast exam for chrissakes! I may have to look into a different location. This lady is a nurse..

Re: Hair removal - Electrolysis (I need advice!)
It never does any harm to have a breast check but that has NOTHING to do with laser treatment for hair removal!!! I'd be suspicious too. Either they are trying to sting you for the cost of a full medical check, or there's something weird going on. Proceed with caution.
