    Default Neat bikini line

Does anyone have some good advice on getting a neat bikini line? I've failed painfully with shaving, waxing, that stupid creme thing...

Oh, I was thinking more on how to avoid ingrown hairs and bumps. But maybe I need a star or perhaps a flower would be cute downstairs...

What does "bikini line" mean these days? I think of it as neatly trimming the sides to avoid the edges poking out of your swimsuit. Or does it refer to a brazilian or permutations thereof? I'm always confused when people use this term.

Neat bikini line is waxing the edges so that nothing sticks out of the underwear.. brazillian is a completely bald cooter.

Waxing never works for me, maybe I'm using bad products (weet) but I never get all the hair and I often get bruises, a bruised crotch looks really strange.

Good question, I'm thinking "the sideburns" is the bikini line but maybe that has changed?

Go to a salon and get a professional waxer to tame the beast. It's not expensive and worth every cent.

If the problem is ingrown hairs then you can buy an ingrown hair product such as Tend Skin, Ingrow Go or Bikini Saver. If your looking to save money then you can try making a Tend Skin type product at home. Google 'Tend skin recipe'. You could also try using acne products contaning salicylic acid/BHA (it's the same thing) which is a chemical exfoliant. It's quite drying though so you might need to use a moisturizer if you go that route. Look for a non comedogenic (won't clog your skin) moisturiser if you absolutely have to use one. It's best to find something that isn't super drying though. I often use Dove roll on deodorant on my bikini line which works a treat.

I've also seen a product on paulaschoice.com called Skin Relief Treatment which is supposed to help with razor burn. I haven't tried it myself but I've had a lot of luck with other Paula's Choice products in the past.

I just looked up that Tend Skin product on Amazon. I like to read the customer reviews. Apparently a lot of people like it. I'm gonna try it, so thanks for that tip.

I use tend skin. It's ok. Not great, but OK. Any beta hydroxy acid does the same thing at a cheaper price. You can use teen acne astringents.

It also helps if you exfoliate with a loofah between waxings, but some of us just get the occasional ingrown anyway.

I'm trying the laser treatment now. I always had the problem with ingrowing hairs. Never liked the shaving, waxing is not my thing, and veet creme doesn't really help either. If it really works, then I'm hair-free forever.
