I'm pretty sure there are lots of products like this. I see them everywhere. Offhand, one I can think of is called Lip Venom. And it definitely tingles almost to the point of burning.
Remember the show 10 years younger I spoke about in the threading thread? Well I was watching it again last night and the make up artist suggested women with thin lips use this lip gloss that naturally enhances your lips and makes them look more plump. Anyone ever heard of it?
Apparently it doesn't last for a long time like collagen but obviously its much safer. She said something about it tingling when you put it on because it makes lots of blood rush to your lips.
I don't need it as I have quite large lips anyway but my mum was interested in it so I thought I'd ask you guys seeing as though you usually have the best advice and experience!![]()

I use Lip Venom. It seems to plump my lips a little.
I like Big Mouth by Philosophy
Is it Happy Hour yet?
Hmmm I have the lip plumper by Too Faced, sometimes I react a little too much though. I also use Lip Plump by Pout, gogreous gloss anyway, have it in clear and caramel, and that works less painfully.
They basically contain things like cinnamon and clove, that naturally irritate the skin.
I've heard of Lip Venom by DuWop, I have not tried it though, sorry. The ingredient that makes it work is cinnamon because it supposedly reacts with your skin to make it swell. I've read somewhere that you can make it yourself with the cinnamon oil and vaseline
^^ Hmm, think I might try that, I had a look online and the cheapest I could fine was £12.99 which I wouldn't pay for a lip gloss, especially for my mum as she doesn't go out very often to use it!

I've heard the results are VERY temporary, like 1/2 hr, unless you continually reapply. Basically, when the stinging wears off, the swelling goes down. If you could make it yourself for cheap, that would definitely be the way to go.
you could just punch yourself in the face. the bruising will last longer
the only thing these really will do is make your face irritated, which means inflammation which means aging faster, which is never good since the skin on your lips is extremely thin, that's the reason why they're red - you're seeing the blood vessels underneath.
