As someone who's run a few marathons, a bunch of half marathons, and one triathlon (sprint distance) I want to know Katie's secret to looking so incredibly fresh crossing the finish line. Not saying that it's not possible but the only people I've seen who looked remotely that good at the finish are elite athletes. Sure, she could've stopped somewhere and primped. What I find amazing it her going out that night in heels! After my marathons I puked, puked some more, sat in ice for a helluva lot longer than 10 minutes, and once the puking stopped started popping the ibuprofen. My feet were bruised, a little bloody and sore as hell for days afterwards. After the sprint triathlon, I wasn't that tired and could've partied all night. But there's something about running a full marathon that really breaks you down. If Katie did run that whole marathon I would love to know her secret.

I used to have my own chip, bought through a local running club. Don't run anymore because of bad knees but it was great while it lasted.
