Large lips, or "grosse lippens", as the germans would say, have become very fashionable. I remember when the large lipped kids would get made fun of. Of course the only media images they had was mick Jagger and Don Knots, so that wasn't much help. Now every model wants to get them as big as possible. Lips are the new breasts!
I think that Kim Bassinger may have started the trend, back in the 80's. Then she supposedly had big lips, thoough they are only average for an actress, by todays standards. Lips and inflation.
