I agree about what you said about her dismissing her birh mother and not Rod b/c he's famous. She sounds messed up but Rod's a jerk not to keep trying to have some type of communication with her. He needs to quit having kids if he can so easily ignore he has one. He should the very least acknowledge she exists!
