I think he probably "made" her by telling her that if she didn't have an abortion, he could be charged because she was a minor. I mean, they didn't "come out" as a couple until she had just turned 18, and then they admitted they had been seeing each other for awhile. Maybe he made her feel badly enough about potential consequences that she aborted?
