What's the best way to prepare for a big, defining playoff game next Sunday with the New York Giants? Well, if you're Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, the answer is easy: hang out in Mexico on a romantic weekend getaway with new gal pal Jessica Simpson.
With his team getting the weekend off as a reward for finishing the 2007 regular season with the best record in the NFC, Romo doffed his pads and donned some shorts as he hung out in Los Cabos with the blonde bombshell, who seems to be doing her best impression of a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

The two went public last month when she appeared at a Cowboys home game in Dallas on December 16, sitting in a private luxury box and wearing a pink number 9 Romo jersey. Romo responded by having one of his worst games of the season in a 10-6 loss to Philadelphia, though his nerves could be due to the fact that Jessica's dad-manager-guru-svengali, Joe, was also in attendance.
Since Joe also accompanied the couple south of the border, we can only hope that Romo did not experience similar issues with his performance.
