I watched it this morning on HBO, even though I have it on DVD!! They were all great in that movie. I still think that there were parts where JH screamed, but did an awesome job...as did Jennifer Holiday when she played Effie on Broadway...She to achieved awards...it's the character..it's a role that will make you!! Beyonce's character was the bitch, and we all know who "Deena" was portraying here..so who could like her or the original bitch....
