Yes Mystify, i bet we've read the same things. Anybody who thinks Kurt Cobain killed himself should check out Tom Grant's (the Private Investigator/ex-cop you mention, who Courtney hired to help her *find Kurt*) website cobaincase.com, as well as the website JusticeForKurt.com, if they are interested. IMO, the evidence is
overwhelming. I'll try to keep it relatively brief--Here are the top 5 pieces of evidence that immediately jump to mind, out of TONS MORE:
A) Like Sweetness said, Courtney had someone else do the murder. She hired someone to do the hit. An old fucked-up L.A. punk-rocker friend of Courtney's (can't remember his name) went on record saying that Courtney had offered him $50,000 to kill Kurt--and the conversation was witnessed by another person. Less than 1 WEEK after Kurt's death, that punk-rocker dude mysteriously was found dead on some railroad tracks.
B) Also like Sweetness said, Kurt was about to file for divorce (on the grounds of infidelity by Courtney). This was confirmed by his attorney, Rosemary something.--Who also told the P.I. that she believed Courtney had him murdered. Courtney had freaked out because she was not going to get any, or all that much, money out of Kurt. She had him killed before he could file the papers. Kurt's death made money-hungry Courtney very rich. (Remember at the time, her album with her band Hole hadn't yet come out yet/she wasn't rich/successful on her own terms yet.)
C) The "suicide note" was actually just a note Kurt wrote about his intentions to leave the music business. But suspiciously, at the bottom, after the original note was written, SOMEONE added in the short little part indicating he was committing suicide.--And it is in obviously DIFFERENT HANDWRITING.
D) There is a LOT of
forensic evidence pointing toward murder & away from suicide. For example, Kurt was shot up with SO MUCH heroin (an INCREDIBLE amount) that it would have killed him INSTANTLY. So, he would have obviously been unable to pull the trigger on the gun. Can't argue with science! And there's a lot of other stuff too--like the shotgun was too long or something for him to have been able to pull the trigger at the angle he supposedly did...and issues of him not having gunpowder residue on him or something.
E) Courtney led the P.I. she hired on a wild-goose chase while they were supposedly *searching for Kurt*--thus making sure that there was ample time for the murder to occur. It is ridiculous, the suspicious stuff she did while with the P.I. And like someone else pointed out, all along Kurt WAS IN HIS OWN HOUSE!!! HELLO!!??!
I could go on & on... I'll stop here. I have to admit, i always believed Kurt took his own life.--UNTIL i researched it. After actually reading about the facts: NO EFFING WAY.
