I think 19-23% can be pretty sexy on a woman - curves in the right places. 15-19% - certainly athletic and defined and not manly. (those are my personal favs) Under 15 and closer to 11% you lose that female shape - if you're muscular you'd be great for a show but not realistic for everyday life unless there is a reason for you to maintain that low state.

Honest answer - I think if you can eat clean - perfect without counting the hours to a cheat meal for a long time (5-6 months) it's very much like an eating disorder - it is a control thing if you think about it and instead of not eating you're obssessed over everything that hits your mouth. (that said if I feel poorly about myself and porked out a bit I can be really strict but I usually snap LOL after about a month and order pizza or make cookies)

I'm in NY

I completely agree with you! Don't you wish you could eat this way the rest of your life? I would rather have less body fat % than weigh less. However, here in South Beach it's all about how you look compared to what your fitness level is. I think you can agree with me on this, I would rather see someone squat 35 pounds than someone squat 10 pounds and not even sweat. Makes me sick. If you are going to work out, sweat and don't act like the sun and moon sets over you.
