Yes, I would rather have a higher body fat it's just easier to maintain and we are female after all. I'm not sure people have a great sense of body fat percents. There are some skinny woman out there that have starved themselves for so long they're bodyfat % is really high 30%-40%. I think 19-23% can be pretty sexy on a woman - curves in the right places. 15-19% - certainly athletic and defined and not manly. (those are my personal favs) Under 15 and closer to 11% you lose that female shape - if you're muscular you'd be great for a show but not realistic for everyday life unless there is a reason for you to maintain that low state.

Honest answer - I think if you can eat clean - perfect without counting the hours to a cheat meal for a long time (5-6 months) it's very much like an eating disorder - it is a control thing if you think about it and instead of not eating you're obssessed over everything that hits your mouth. (that said if I feel poorly about myself and porked out a bit I can be really strict but I usually snap LOL after about a month and order pizza or make cookies)
