You'll read things like who he was doing drugs with (e.g. Vanity, his ex fiance, she's now turned a crazy Jesus worshipper reverend, I bet drugs really messed with her head!), what drugs he was taking and how, how he behaved (drug induced psychosis, paranoia) how he treated his bandmates, friends, family, groupies, girlfriends (basically an asshole), his issues (coming from a dysfunctional family/childhood memories, depression) his experience with OD and dying, etc etc.
But I'm a fantard!
I even went to Nikki's book signing!

It sounds cool. I've read the Dirt (the story of the whole band) and I don't know how much overlap there might be between the two but I'd like to check it out as well.
As for Slash, I've seen a pic of his where you can see his eyes. He has some serious crosseyed thing going which explains the mystery... I agree that he looks and sounds slow but he's a damn good guitarist.
