yeah, but the actors used to take the cost of the clothes as tax deductions. until the irs clamped down on them.

regular people used to be able to deduct too....if your job required a uniform.....but all thats gone now....since the early 90's.....
But at least when you used to see Liz Taylor in diamonds they were hers...not on loan for the evening
