well, yah that's the point, they are weight loss/cutting diets and with a weekly cheat day you can eat fairly clean for long periods of time (12-16 weeks at a time)

if you dieted strict and clean for two years your metabolism would shut down so I'm not sure why anyone would diet like that for that long.
