Thats one MAJOR cockup, i hope the idiot who foolishly decided to put the entire database on 2 CD's and send it by UN-REGESTERED post gets his/her arse fired and a heafty punishment.

You have to be a complete utter moron to send sensitive data like that by un-registered post because there is no way of tracking where the parcal is. It could be anywhere right now....in the hands of crimminals, in a dustbin somewhere etc.. now 25 million people (just under half of the British population) have to now worry about fraud and identity theft.

I'm glad that me and my family arent one of the 25 million people but i really feel for the families that are.
