I didn't mean that in a pissy way, just wanted to point that out. And I agree there is an double standard that rips non-whites a new one for altering features while whites get a free pass. No one is a mind reader and no one is qualified to say what someone else's motives are.

ITA... and this whole terminology of "ethnic" as opposed to "Caucasian" is unreasonable in itself, I think - it's the same old racial thinking under a different name, with "whites" being the norm and everybody else different and "ethnic". Fact is we're all "ethnic", and as crumpet stated, Caucasian is a huge term that encompasses an enormous variety - Arabs, Turks, Kurds, Persians and most other Middle Eastern peoples are Caucasian, as well as Europeans in general, as diverse as we are; even up here in the bleak north people look very different. We're not all blonde and blue-eyed, and even those who are can look quite different.
