Britney Spears Blackout debuts at #2
Britney Spears Blackout did not debut as the #1 record in America today as was previously expected. Due to a revised policy by Billboard, The Eagles
Long Road Out of Eden topped the charts with 711,000 albums sold versus 290,000 for Britney. The revised policy allows exclusive albums available through limited retailers to appear on the Billboard list of bestselling albums (
Long Road Out of Eden is only available at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores). In other news, the US Census Bureau issued an apology today for miscounting the total number of mentally handicapped individuals in the 2000 Census by 290,000.
