Either the Republicans, or Team Obama, has floated this now. The Democratic Party selection process can get pretty ugly. For instance one former Obama staffer posted a "Big Mother" clip to youtube, based on the1984 classic Big Brother ad by Apple computers. They just super imposed Hillary's face in place of Big Brother's.
Now I think that this might've been technically some sort of a no no, because the guy in question resigned his offical position a day or two before he posted it, so that he could claim it was done as a private citizen, & not an offical part of the campaign.
