I think "the gay" may be hard to overcome for some of those "religious" republicans and this could put them squarly back over on the republican side of the voting fence. For the religious wackos, her being female is deterrent enough. Has anyone EVER met some zealot who didn't think it's a man's place to be the head of the office/country/family and that we wimmins are supposed to be helpmates?
