Mario Buatta the designer is very down to earth and so funny. He was dubbed the Prince of Chintz. Some know his name because he did Mariah Carey's apt which was so overdone and not in a good way. He's a superb designer and does a look for a particular clientele. Mariah's place looks like Mario threw up his hands and said "Whatever, gimme the check".

I also want to add that her home (in my not so humble opinion when) is styled, not designed. There is a difference.
Now I'm curious Chalet! First, were you referring to Mariah's or Gwyneth's place that is styled and not designed? And most importantly, what is the difference between "styled" and "designed" in your professional opinion? I really wanna pick your brain about that one because I'm in a new place and we're still deciding what to do with it.
