I'm not sure what you're saying here. She is still a parent regardless of whether they are in school or not. She will still suck as a mother because she doesn't give a shit about being a good one. She still has to be there for them nights, weekends, and holidays.
I really don't see school making things better because the problem lies with her and she isn't interested in fixing it.
