For any of you who want to TRULY understand how this happened, watch their show on VH1. While Hulk scrutinizes EVERY movement that his daughter Brooke makes, he pretty much gives Nick carte blanche on EVERYTHING! Instead of going to a "drifting" class to help him bond with his son, he should have spent the time teaching his son a few lessons on actions, consequences, and responsibility.
