And because it's a cute, blonde and blue-eyed little girl. Maybe it's just in my mind, but many cases seem to get a lot more attention when the victim, regardless of age, is considered attractive. ("Oh, what a tragedy she died, she was so pretty!") As if being attractive made their deaths all the more terrible. That's just my opinion!

I didn't want to say it, but that's what I've been thinking all along. It's always " What a shame! She was soooo pretty, soooo popular, sooooo smart! The perfect girl next door". As if to say ugly dumb loners can disappear and nobody will care.
