They are real. I saw her giving an on camera interview that night and they were very visible then.
I had a friend who got accordion like stretch marks after her pregnancy, which went beyong 9 months. It was beyong 'stripes'. the skin was very loose and hung there like an accordion. I felt badly for her but she could cover it up with a high rise bikini.
On a side note, I bet cellulite is relieved it got the day off.
