Most big stars are used to taking whatever they want from photo shoots, and it's generally understood that will be the case. I wouldn't be surprised at all if one of the staff members, who they've already told us were bending over backwards to make Britney happy, told her she could keep the clothes before turning around and implying that she stole them when the interview didn't go as planned.
