I think when you get right down to it all minority groups, be they blacks, women, gays, Jews, etc go through a specific form of discrimination. And I think it does become an exercise in futility to try and compare who went through the worst atrocities / most discrimination like your friend was doing, Pacific Breeze. And you were right to call him on it.
