While Washington is a minority, he's still human. All humans have prejudices and stereotypes. And I've heard some gays make some racist statements about blacks and other minorities. So, that goes both ways. Being a minority doesn't mean that you suddenly understand the plight of another minority group if you're not part of that group and share their history and struggle.
