When I saw her in concert about 2 1/2 years ago I remember thinking, "WOW this girl's gonna make it big!" I was blown away by her talent. Can't
believe she's not more famous.
I guess it's b/c she can't be labeled? Her music is such a mix, which makes it hard to market her to any particular audience. She's not pop, so it's not like they'll play her on the radio. She's not really country, but that's how she was marketed at first (not sure about now). A lot of the country fans don't like anything new or edgy, so this probably cut her chances big time.
I consider her to be a singer/songwriter with a unique twist.

With the right kind of exposure, she would have all kinds of fans. How unfair that someone like Paris Hilton with ZERO talent can make huge CD sales, while someone so gifted gets lost in the shuffle.
By the way, did you know that the song One Moment More was written about her beloved mother dying of cancer? When she sang it live, there was so much emotion and sadness in her beautiful voice. It was very touching, made me cry and gave me goosebumps.
