Good points in the posts above (previous page). I can remember growing up in Arkansas when Clinton was governor. HRC rubbed my mom and all of her friends the wrong way. I know now that it had a lot to do with the fact that she was not a stereotypically Southern woman or just a typical woman, for that matter. I think she makes men nervous because she challenges them.

KrisNine, I absolutely agree with you as well, especially on the point of the "images" or connotations that come with the terms conservative or liberal. In our current social atmosphere, tag the label Christian on yourself and, if you are also conservative and the wrongdoing doesn't involve bjs in the Oval Office, you can do no wrong. It is as if being Christian buys you a free ticket. Where is our separation of church and state? They are hand-in-hand right now.

I mean really---look back at what Clinton was attacked for and I think it absolutely pales in comparison to the egregious misdoings by the current administration. Where is the anger? Where are the investigations that dominate the media like they did in the Clinton era?

Bush flings the term terrorism around and has successfully manipulated the American public. I mean, for chrissakes, there are POLLS being done about whether or not America opens itself up to more attacks if a Democrat is elected. While the majority responded negatively, if I recall there was something like 38% who said responded that we would be more vulnerable. WTF?!! These idiots get to vote?!!!
