This hurts me deeply to post, but another candidate for this BI could be Johnny Depp. I would consider him a brilliant actor and with his "Pirates" movies, easily qualifies for the top 10 movies of two of the last five years.
Brad Pitt's movies would only qualify if we went back to Oceans Eleven way back in 2001 (according to IMDB).
