Speaking of vegan cookies. Years ago one of my co-workers brought some vegan cookies to work that she made to "prove" to everyone how good vegan cooking can be. She had a little package for everyone. I tasted one and they were so gross I almost gagged, but I didn't have the heart to throw them away in front of her so I took them home to throw away.
Well my son (who was maybe six at the time) saw the packet of cookies and asked if he could have one. I said yes and didn't say anything cause I figured he'd probably like them. I mean, what kid doesn't like cookies? One bite and I honestly thought he was gonna lose his lunch. His face was all scrunched up and he looked at me and said "why'd you let me do that?" Oh - I cracked up. Now, I'm sure there are great vegan recipes/chefs out there. My co-worker just apparently didn't happen to be one.
As for Alicia, I do think she could have acted better. Part of me wonders though if it was really a snub or conscious at all. EH def looks surpised. I don't know. Even though I have a hard time being the bigger person, I think other people should be the bigger person when the opportunity arises. (Do as I say, not as I do mentality.)
