i also thought that. i mean, paedophilia's not like, say, smoking pot or something where peer pressure or easy access might make people tempted. you're either a paedophile or you're not and i've always wondered how many paedophiles there are out there that never act on their impulses. they're probably the ones this sort of thing caters to. i'm pretty sure that among paedophiles there are those that act on it and those that are able to control themselves because they realise how wrong it is.

I agree that it's disturbing as hell, but no actual child is being harmed in the making of those, and one of the side-effects of free speech is that creepy things like that will exist alongside legitimate artistic creations.

totally agree. i think it's just because of how repugnant child porn and paedophilia are to me it's hard to say i think this stuff should continue to be legal. but you're absolutely right, the downside of free speech is sick shit like this but the alternative - censorship - is much worse.
