Default Pete Burns' plastic surgery

Before -

After -

Quote:
Burns first started to have plastic surgery in 1984. After recording You Spin Me Round, he decided it would never be a hit, so went ahead with a planned nose job. "The operation was a disaster - my nose completely caved in on one side," he says. "I'm sat at home recovering, when I get a call telling me I'm on Top of the Pops next Tuesday. That's why I had to wear that eye patch. It wasn't a fashion statement, it was practical."

Undeterred, Burns had more surgery to have his nose corrected, followed by cheek implants. "That was the worst thing I ever did," he groans. "We had another hit record as soon as I had them done, so I ended up going round the world with these grotesque, pointed cheekbones. Since then, I've had the lips enhanced to high hell: they're permanent. They are made from Evolution, which is not dissimilar to the substance contact lenses are made from."

For the record Pete wants it to be known that he has had far less surgery and other treatments than most people believe. "I've had my nose done four times, facial peels, lip implants and Botox and that's it. I've never had my eyes done and I've never had a facelift."

Pete gets annoyed at celebrities that have had surgery but deny it. "I think they are very arrogant and they sometimes actually beleive they haven't had surgery. In a well groomed society if people have flaws they should get tem fixed and not spend loads of time and money at beauty counters on products that are worthless"
