I agree, not to stereotype or be offensive or anything, but I believe in many cultures the world over, having a 'whiter' or 'lighter' skin shade is considered more beautiful than dark (even in the U.S. there was a recent news blurb about how immigrants with darker skin make less money than their counterparts with lighter skin). There are plenty of Indian actresses that are dark(er). It is almost like some people considering only 'light skinned' black women beautiful, when in fact there are many beautiful darker skinned black females.
