I dont think he's closeted really; he just doesn't say 'I'm gay'. But he doesn't try to prove he's straight. I recall him saying once in answer to a question about his sexuality; 'what difference does it make to my music?' If i say i am, people will talk, and if I say I'm not, people will talk'. So he doesn't say anything..
