She said she didn't want to treat her cat and wanted to put her to sleep instead. I think if that's the case she should drag it out as long as possible and not rush putting her pet to sleep unless it's on death's door. Her cat could live for months or even for another year or so. Just putting the cat to sleep immediately isn't necessery. Personally, I would treat the cat, I gave heart medication to my cat every 12 hours for 8 years, sometimes it was hard but overall it wasn't that bad.

I just can't stand it when Vets overwhelm people, who genuinely love their pets, with all this info which leads them into putting their pets down. Vets should try to meet pet owners halfway and come up with a plan that is good for the pet and good for the owners.
