See, Paul Newman is a perfect example! His best feature were his blue eyes, that goes without saying, but to me he was highly overrated. He had nice eyes and maybe for his time, his era, he stood out, but he never made my boat float. And honestly, I think back in that era, a lot of the male actors WEREN'T that handsome and their bodies weren't that great. There are better looking actors now with much better bodies. But these old time actors became such sex-symbols because of the exact thing we mentioned: CHARISMA. Charisma and mystique did more for Paul Newman than his face ever did. Clark Gable (big nose, wierd teeth) and even Rudolph Valentino (not that attractive to me personally) had a lot of imperfections and yet they were considered sooooo handsome in Hollywood in their time because of the same reason: the whole package they personified.
I guess it's all a matter of taste. Some men may think Angelina Jolie, for example, is the most beautiful woman ever and others may think she has the wierdest face on the planet. Some people can (and will) dissect her face and say she has too big of a mouth, her face is too round or that her nose is too wide. Someone else may think Halle Berry's face is gorgeous while others may think she's rather plain and that there's there's nothing exceptional about her face. Or the debate we've had before about Lisa Marie Presley. Some people may think, okay, Presley may not be as attractive as her parents, but she
is pretty and she looks a hell of a lot like Elvis. But there are others who will turn blue in the face saying she's totally ugly and she doesn't look anything like her father. IT'S ALL PERCEPTION.
IMO there is NOTHING 'ugly' or strange about Daniel Craig's face. He unfortunately doesn't photograph well, but he is wonderful onscreen. The clothing and the character he portrayed in this role only added to his already aesthetically attractive looks. I could see a regular man like him at a club and believe me, he would most definitely get my attention because I
would consider someone who looks like him handsome...piercing blue eyes, decent height, nice body, his coloring (I like light complected men with light hair), the rugged looks and believe it or not, I like the pouty mouth. I'd see a man like him and totally see handsome...the charisma (or whatever) would only be on top of features that were hot IMO.
Again, I guess, it's all a matter of taste. So for those who think he's fugly, you're entitled to that opinion, but to many of us he
is extremely attractive. The eye-brain thing is working and it's saying 'DELICIOUS'....lol!!
