I wonder if Lindsay is aware that the second "A" in "AA" is for "anonymous," and that wearing a pin to show the world that you're attending kind of smacks of the same sort of insincere "Look at me!" that waving her new handcuffs around did.
And yes, I know that anonymity is a personal choice and not a requirement in AA, but the pin tactic smells to me like someone who is wanting to be able to say, "Geez, back off, I don't have a problem, I go to AA!" than someone who sincerely thinks they need help.
