The great love affair of the year is finally over now that Lindsay Lohan has returned to the States and left her man Calum Best behind in the UK.
The couple have spent almost a week together after Lohan came over to the UK to host the World Music Awards.
However, when Best decided to full-fill work commitments, Lohan lost her rag and tried to keep him prisoner in her hotel room.
Best was scheduled to travel to Belfast where he would be switching on the Christmas lights but Lohan was unable to comprehend the fact that he would have to leave and told her security to keep him where he was.
A spy told the Mirror: “Staff thought Lindsay wanted them to get rid of Calum – they couldn’t believe they wanted help to keep him there.
“She was going crazy demanding to know why Calum had to leave. She wasn’t listening when he told her he had to work.
“She was convinced he was going to meet another girl behind her back and was determined to stop him leaving.
“In the end they managed to calm her down but she went to bed in a real strop, cursing Calum and saying she never wanted to see him again. He jumped into a car and sped off.”
A friend of Calum’s added: “Calum’s a legendary swordsman, but he can’t keep up with Lindsey – she’s wearing him out. He thinks she’s a nice girl, but he’s glad she’s gone back home to L.A.”
