Angelina Jolie is hoping to get pregnant and adopt an orphan from Haiti before Christmas, according to reports.

(BANG) - Angelina Jolie is hoping to get pregnant and adopt an orphan from Haiti before Christmas, it has been claimed.

Angelina and partner Brad Pitt have reportedly made a 'baby bargain' after failing to agree if their next child should be conceived naturally or adopted and have decided to do both.

A source said: "Not only is Angelina preparing to conceive again but the couple have spent eight months planning to adopt a baby from Haiti."
Brad, 42, and Angelina, 31, first visited the impoverished Caribbean nation in January, to show their support for rapper Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti foundation, but they also visited an orphanage in Port-au-Prince.

According to a British magazine, Brad returned to Haiti in March, just days before Angelina gave birth to daughter Shiloh, but claimed he was visiting the nearby Dominican Republic.

The source said: "Brad told reporters he was visiting Dominican Republic to discuss a property deal but he was actually talking to lawyers about starting the adoption process."

Haiti law says applicants must be over 35 and married, but the authorities do make exceptions.

The couple are said to be planning to spend Christmas in the Virgin Islands, just an hour away from Haiti.
