I'm prone to pimples, too, and the only thing that has ever worked for me is Clinique's acne foam wash, night gel, & day shield. I'm very allergic to benzoyl peroxide or I'd have tried Proactiv - I know several people who had very bad skin and it was like a magic potion for them. Clinique's has salicylic acid in a concentration that's a lot stronger than what I found in drug store brands, so I tried that and it works for me.
