Jeez, Icequeen, I'm glad you rescued 3 cats from the pound, but I'm afraid PB is right, your writing style is rather abrasive. It also seems kind of harsh to penalize an innocent cat for having a moronic or neglectful owner, which you seem to want to do.

I live in an apartment complex, and we have a regular cat community here, because some irresponsible tenants leave their cats here when they move out. And of course they multiply. But we're not calling the pound on them, because they are harmless and bother nobody. I know some people feed them, and I know one great lady who even catches as many as she can and takes them to the vet to be spayed.

I do agree with you that in most cases it is not a good idea to let a cat out. There are just too many dangers out there. My cats "out" is a screened porch, and that is as close to the Great Outdoors as those little rascals are ever going to get.
